Forecast: Another nice one Monday – ABC7 News

Pleasant weather continues today as we kick off a new work week!
Look for temperatures at sunrise to be slightly below average for most, falling into the lower 70s and upper 60s. Under mostly sunny skies those temperatures will quickly climb, however, reaching afternoon highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s. With unseasonably low humidity sticking around today, rain chances will stay fairly low as well with only a few isolated showers popping up this evening.
Tuesday will feature similar weather — with partly cloudy skies, fairly low humidity, and little meaningful rainfall. Highs will hold in the low 90s.
Humidity and rain chances will pick up as we head through the second half of the week — with scattered showers and storms expected each afternoon from Wednesday through the weekend. Highs will hold in the lower 90s.
Tracking the Tropics:
The National Hurricane Center continues to track two named storms in the Atlantic — Hurricane Sam and Tropical Storm Victor. Both will fall apart this week as they head north and are not threats to any land areas.
The NHC is also watching a disturbance near the Bahamas that will slowly drift toward the US east coast this week. Development looks unlikely thanks to high wind shear, but it will help to enhance rain chances for the Carolinas this weekend.
Hurricane season continues through the end of November.
